As it turns out, their recommendation of Steve was well placed and his care and handling of our case was not only thorough, with extreme attention to detail, but he often metaphorically held our hands as he guided us through our extremely difficult, painful and emotional case. We are confident that every penny that could be recovered in wrongful death allowances was recovered from several parties. The recovered monies were put into an estate fund and eventually disbursed to two scholarships and several other causes that our daughter would want to support. He was compassionate, well-informed and persistent in pursuing the case to its successful conclusion. There was one tack we were interested in taking that Steve gently but firmly told us would be useless and costly ~ and he was absolutely right. Steve is an amazing personal injury attorney but working with him goes far beyond his extensive legal knowledge and skill. He advised us on how to prepare for the driver’s plea and sentencing and helped us craft our victim impact statements. We flew back to Maine for the sentencing and he was with us every step of the way. His guidance, care and expertise made a sad and difficult day bearable.
