Sandra L. Rothera
Sandra L. Rothera was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1950. She graduated with honors from the Eastern Maine Medical Center School of Nursing at the top of her class and was licensed as a Registered Nurse in 1973. Later, Ms. Rothera received her undergraduate degree cum laude from the University of Maine. She received her law degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1993 and was admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of Maine in 1994 and to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine in 1995.
Ms. Rothera is a member of the Penobscot County and Maine State Bar Associations as well as the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and a past member of the John Waldo Ballou American Inns of Court. Ms. Rothera’s experience includes serving on the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Orrington from 1998 to 2000 and on the Board of Directors of the Bangor Area Visiting Nurses from 1994 to 2006. She also formerly held a position on the Board of Directors of the Acadia Hospital.
